30 Day Challenge

As I sit here in my room, wondering how I will make myself seem cool and awesome by using witty little remarks, I realize that most of us are getting kicked around and, just like me, are sick of it. I'm currently knee deep in debt, underweight, and my days are usually split between going to classes ... or working less than minimum wage at a bar.

So ... here is my first mission: Get in shape.

Why? Well the debt problem isn't going away anytime soon (College and the less-than-minimum-wage job are doing wonders to throw me even deeper) So I'm going to tackle my first problem: being too damn skinny.

There are two reasons:
1. I barely have money for food
2. I barely have time for sleep, let alone work out.

While I brainstorm on how I'm going to tackle this problem, I have decided to give myself a time limit. 30 days. That's right, each day I will try to do something positive (run? ... maybe) in order to get back into the amazing shape I used to be in. Countdown starts now.

I realize that this is a  very pretentious and cheesy title for a blog, but it's the first thing that I could think of. Sometimes, and I know most of us share the same feeling, it feels like it's just me out there against the entire world. You know what I'm talking about, when your life is just an endless repetition of bad luck over and over again.

Having your alarm clock die (and no, not just turning off, actually messing up) on you and oversleeping, missing tons of classes & meetings in the process.
Having to run two blocks just to catch a bus, only having the bus break down five blocks down the street, ending up being late to work because you had to run the entire way.
Overpaying for a cup of coffee (my comfort drink), just to have some ass bump into you and spilling it on yourself.

Yep, my life is just an endless repetition of this crap each day.

So in the end I decided to make a blog about it, not for you (nope), but for myself. This way I can keep track of it all to make sure it doesn't happen again.

As for you, the reader, hopefully you can learn a thing or two about how to handle situations such as these. I won't bitch about every little bad thing, that's just not my style. As a matter of fact, in the end, I usually come out on top.
